This is a part time (0.77 FTE) fixed term position commencing asap for the remainder of 2024.As the Food Technology Assistant you will be responsible for providing assistance to Food Technology Teachers in the classroom. This will include assisting students under the direction of the Teacher. You will also ensure that ingredients are ordered, prepared and available in portions where necessary for each class. Equipment needs to be made available checked and cleaned after use. Some after hours work may be required at certain times throughout the year.The current hours of work are:Monday 8:00am to 4:06pmTuesday 8:00am to 2:00pmWednesday 8:00am to 5:00pmThursday 8:00am to 4:06pmAbout YouTo be successful you will have a knowledge and experience in the food handling, an interest in cooking and will enjoy working with young people. You must also hold a current Food Handling certificate. You will also be able to guide and assist others.
