Real Life LearningA welcoming and supportive working environmentOpportunity to make a real difference in the development and lives of studentsWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Officer to join Penola Catholic College and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.As the Learning Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting students with additional needs in order to maximise their educational outcomes. The Learning Support Officer will provide assistance in the classroom and out of the classroom working closely with teaching staff and student enhancement teachers to ensure our students with additional needs are given every assistance to learn and reach their full potential.This is a part time three days per week fixed term position for the remainder of 2023 with the possibility of extension for 2024. The hours would be Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:45am to 3:30pm, for a total of 18.24 hours per week.About YouTo be successful you will have previous experience as a Learning Support Officer, preferably in a secondary school, or experience working with young people with additional needs or learning barriers. An education support qualification would be highly regarded.
